Las Leñas Ski/Wine Excursions Sample Itinerary

Postales del Plata wine excursions can be scheduled before or after your ski vacation. If you would like to enjoy your wine excursion before your ski vacation, we recommend that you fly into Mendoza, Argentina, where your Postales host will greet you. After your customized wine country experience is completed, we will provide you with a comfortable ground transfer to the Las Leñas Ski Resort. If you choose to tour the Mendoza wine country after your ski vacation, we will arrange for you to meet your host in Las Leñas, San Rafael, Valle de Uco, or Lujan de Cuyo.

Your itinerary will be customized according to your interests, timeframe, and budget. Before skiing, or after, you can pick one, two, three, four, or five day wine country experiences with flexibility in choosing your arrival and departure cities.

Day One, Mendoza City, Chacras de Coria
Daily Information: Arrival into Mendoza City – Greeted by your Postales host. Check in at Chacras de Coria Lodge. Lunch, visit, and tasting at Zuccardi Winery. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon on your own in Mendoza, or take an optional city tour. Your hotel: Chacras de Coria Lodge, includes dinner with wine .

Day Two, Mendoza City, Chacras de Coria
Daily Information: Breakfast at Chacras de Coria Lodge. Drive via private vehicle to Terrazas de los Andes Winery in Lujan de Cuyo. Tasting and touring at Terrazas. Lunch, tasting of sparkling wine and visit at Bodega Chandon. Afternoon to explore Mendoza City, shopping, sightseeing, or schedule a relaxing massage. Dinner at a local restaurant. Your hotel: Chacras de Coria Lodge.

Day Three, Valle de Uco

Daily Information: Breakfast at Chacras de Coria Lodge. Drive to Bodega Catena Zapata in Lujan de Cuyo. Tasting and touring Bodega Catena Zapata. Lunch at Postales del Plata's Valle de Uco Lodge. Short drive to Salentein Winery at the foot of the Andes. Touring and tasting at Salentein Winery. Optional horseback riding or just relax at the lodge. Dinner at Valle de Uco Lodge. Your hotel: Valle de Uco Lodge.

Day Four, Travel to Las Leñas
Daily Information: Breakfast at Valle de Uco Lodge. Dive south to San Rafael. Optional city tour and shopping in San Rafael. Drive up to the Las Leñas Ski Resort to begin your ski vacation package.

Departure Day

Daily Information: Breakfast at Las Leñas. Transfer to the Mendoza airport to begin your journey home, or continue with additional time in the Mendoza Wine Country.

Pricing for Ski/Wine Country Excursions

For 2 people $250 per person per day; For 3 or 4 people $225 per person per day; For 5 or more people $200 per person per day. All packages include: multilingual host/hostess, hotel/country inn accommodations, meals, ground transportation for wine tours, winery tours, tastings, and other selected activities. Not Included: air transportation to/from Mendoza or other airports, transfers to/from Las Leñas, gratuities to the appropriate hosts and staff, shopping, spa treatments, items of a personal nature. Complete detailed itineraries will be provided to each group.
